Students engineer their futures at University of Missouri camp

About 50 elementary school children are attending an interactive civil engineering camp at the University of Missouri staffed by student volunteers. "We wanted kids to know what civil engineering is and to get an idea of what civil engineers do and how important it is to their lives, and maybe even consider doing engineering some day," said Sara Goebel, an engineering student and the vice president of community service for the university's chapter of ASCE.
