Bosses help people help themselves, says Birchbox co-CEO

The role of a boss is to help people to take control of their lives, says Katia Beauchamp, co-founder and co-CEO of Birchbox. You can't take personal responsibility for each of your charges; all you can do is give people the opportunity to help themselves, Beauchamp explains. "I'm here to set you up for success. But you're driving. I can't drive all your cars. There are too many of you," she says.
