Cost of "fractionation trains" project in Ohio now over $1B

Chesapeake Midstream Development's Utica East Ohio Buckeye cryogenic processing complex in Ohio is partly operational and still under development. The cost of its fractionation trains, which process natural gas liquids, has increased from $900 million to more than $1 billion. Close to 500 construction workers at the 170-acre site are on the job, working for six to seven primary contractors and more 20 subcontractors.
