EDGE Certification helps companies stay competitive through gender equality

Achieving Economic Dividends for Gender Equality, or EDGE, Certification signals that a company embraces gender diversity and supports a culture designed to help women succeed in the workplace, which in turn has shown to help the company be more profitable, writes Megan Beyer of the EDGE Certification Foundation Board, citing figures from Credit Suisse, Pepperdine University and McKinsey. EDGE "lets companies grow their own leaders by fixing the expensive leaky pipeline" and reducing attrition rates among women.
