Exxon: Proposed $2.66M penalty over Ark. pipeline spill is flawed

ExxonMobil expressed frustration over the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration's proposed $2.66 million penalty against the company over a crude oil pipeline spill in Mayflower, Ark., in March. "The agency has made some fundamental errors" in its analysis, an Exxon spokesman said, adding that the company has reviewed the pipeline in compliance with U.S. standards.
