FAA to release regulations on civilian use of drones

The Federal Aviation Administration will release regulations for civilian use of drones today. Experts predict the agency will not require privacy protections before allowing expanded use of drones. "We don't need any new [privacy] procedures," said Ben Gielow, government-relations manager and general counsel for the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International.
