Facebook, Google, Microsoft offer rewards for Internet bugs

A bug-hunting bounty program that offers rewards of $300 to $5,000 is being endorsed by Facebook and Microsoft, with help from Google. "It is meant for those very, very severe bugs that would have dire consequence for the Internet if they were to get into the wrong hands," said Facebook's Alex Rice. Details on the Internet Bug Bounty program are available at HackerOne.com/ibb. A panel of employees from the three companies will examine the submissions.
