Google adds benchmarking for rival browsers in Octane update

Google has enhanced its Octane speed test, which measures JavaScript performance, with capabilities that measure the performance of rival browsers' computing tasks. Octane will now also include benchmarking for Microsoft's Typescript language as well as Mozilla's zlib compression library.
