Ill. lawmaker proposes to partner after marriage vote

Illinois Rep. Sam Yingling proposed to his longtime partner, Lowell Jaffe, after the state House passed a marriage-equality bill on Tuesday night. Yingling, who helped gather support for the legislation, proposed at the governor's mansion during a celebration for the bill's passage. The couple plans to wed in Illinois next summer after the bill takes effect.
