New home on Fla. campus, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, features timber roof canopies

Construction of a single-story house on the Usonian campus of Florida Southern College in Florida was recently completed, the 13th of 18 structures designed 74 years ago by Frank Lloyd Wright. Among the notable features of this structure are the use of timber for its roof canopies and window frames, while its walls are made from a special concrete block mold also designed by Wright and 6,000 colored glass blocks that serve as stained glass windows.
