President Barack Obama apologized Thursday night to Americans who will lose their health-insurance plans due to the Affordable Care Act, and he said he had assigned a team to remedy the situation and plug "holes and gaps in the law." "I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me," Obama said.
