OSHA cites Neb. roofing company for fall-protection violations

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has proposed $70,000 in penalties to JMA Roofing in Nebraska for fall-protection violations related to a fatal fall for one of its workers. The agency cited the company for failing to provide workers with fall-protection equipment and to train them about fall hazards. Ghaleb Suleiman, operator of the company, said the fatal incident happened after the work day had ended and plans to challenge the citations.
