Southwest comments on impact of government shutdown

Tammy Romo, CFO for Southwest Airlines, said the government shutdown is expected to cost the carrier up to $25 million in lost revenue for November. Southwest suffered a similar revenue loss last month from the shutdown, Romo said. However, the carrier did improve its passenger revenue per available seat mile for October.
