Whole Foods reduces prices to compete

An influx of organic and natural products at traditional grocers, and even convenience stores, has Whole Foods Market lowering prices to match those of competitors, including Wegmans Food Markets and Sprouts Farmers Market. Whole Foods also is moving into low-income areas of Detroit and New Orleans, using modified stock and staff, but the changes are affecting profit.
