Wis. district reallocates funds for technology coaches

Officials in a Wisconsin school district will use $550,000 to create eight new positions tasked with coaching teachers to use iPads, interactive whiteboards and other technology. The district funded the initiative by reallocating money from its technology equipment budget to its payroll budget. While some praised the move as resourceful, others questioned adding new positions at a time when the district has other needs.
