House and Senate override Bush veto of Water Resources Act

The House and Senate both voted overwhelmingly to override President George W. Bush's veto of the Water Resources Development Act of 2007. The measure was designed to provide for the conservation and development of water and related resources, but Bush said it was too costly and "lacks fiscal discipline."
