Study: Adherence to prescriptions helps elderly with osteoporosis

Researchers report that older osteoporosis patients who complied with their prescriptions were less likely to suffer from fractures. Prescription refill compliance proved to be the main predictor of common types of fractures in the study of more than 74,000 women and men aged 67 and older.
