Chefs can play a role as calorie cutters

Restaurant chefs can play a key role in cutting the number of calories Americans consume and helping in the fight against obesity, according to research from Penn State. About three-quarters of the chefs and restaurateurs surveyed recently said they could cut calories by 10% without guests noticing. For most Americans, cutting even 100 calories per day can result in significant weight loss in a year, researchers said.
