House plans to review infrastructure priorities next year

Rep. John Mica, R-Fla., who may lead the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee when the new Congress begins in January, says he plans to review the 2009 economic-stimulus package and how its money was spent, starting with the $10 billion in high-speed rail awards and the $1.5 billion for transportation construction under the TIGER grant program. There are also plans to review some of the grant programs, he added.
