Landry's acquires Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

Houston-based Landry's Restaurants said Monday it has acquired casual seafood chain Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. for $120 million, the second acquisition since CEO Tilman Fertitta took Landry's private last month. The chain, inspired by the title character in the movie "Forrest Gump," boasts several high-profile locations in tourist areas, including one in New York's Times Square.
