Law firms change their hiring criteria

Law firms say that when they interview students, they're looking for more than just good grades -- they want those who also have other attributes such as business experience and personal grit. "We think that by really delving into situations in their lives, both positive and negative, we will gain key insights into what they are like as people," says Jason St. John, the hiring partner at Saul Ewing LLP.
