Louisiana parish to use road funds to build levee

Officials in Terrebonne Parish, La., will stop work on a project that would elevate the Falgout Canal Road and instead use $14 million from that project's budget to begin work on a levee. Levee officials say they will need more funds to complete the levee project, as it is expected to cost $20 million. The source of the additional funding has not been determined.
