McConnell plans to defund health reform law

Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said he is seeking ways to deplete the financial resources of the health care reform law as a way to block its implementation. Republicans recognize that repealing the law with new legislation would be difficult before 2013, but McConnell said that they will seek to send a full repeal to President Barack Obama and replace the existing law with common-sense reforms to reduce spending.
