BWI airport expansion will improve security checkpoints

A $100 million expansion will transform the central and security areas of Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport over the next two years. The renovation includes a larger checkpoint and changes that will allow travelers to pass through concourses without going through security checkpoints again. The checkpoint at Concourse C will expand from six lines to nine, officials said.
