Report finds that "cultural barriers" prevent analytics adoption

Corporate culture is the biggest obstacle for companies looking to implement analytics programs. More than 4 in 10 of those surveyed for a report from IBM and MIT said "cultural barriers" were preventing them from adopting analytics, while about a quarter reported technology barriers. Companies may already use analytics in financial management but are reluctant to use them to drive business decisions, according to the report.
