Catskills casino developers eye locations after N.Y. vote

Developers are looking at several casino locations in the Catskills after New York voters approved expanded gambling in the state. "It will be extremely competitive for a license," said Michael Treanor, who has proposed a casino at the shuttered Nevele resort. A casino could open in the Catskills as early as 2016, as license approvals are slated for early summer 2014.
