Chick-fil-A founder passes CEO reins to son

Chick-fil-A's 92-year-old founder Truett Cathy has stepped down from his role as chairman and CEO, passing the titles to son, COO Dan Cathy, the company said Thursday. Truett Cathy, who said the change in leadership is part of a long-term succession plan, will focus on a new restaurant concept called Truett's Luau that is opening in Fayetteville, Ga., in December.
