Gore's iliac-branch stent graft wins approval in Europe

W.L. Gore & Associates has earned the CE mark to market its new Excluder stent graft, designed for use in the iliac branch, in Europe. The device, when used with the company's Excluder AAA endoprosthesis, maintains blood flow in the internal and external iliac arteries by separating systemic blood flow FROM the common iliac artery.
