Publicized injury reports are unfair, employers say

The U.S. Labor Department is proposing a database of detailed workplace-safety information be made available to the public, a move that is garnering criticism from employers. "Just because you have an injury, it does not mean there was employer fault," says Marc Freedman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. "Reporting the injury records does not tell the full story of the company."
