Lifetime's Carole Black to step down after six years

Carole Black, president and chief executive officer of Lifetime Entertainment Services, says she'll resign when her contract ends in March. During her six-year reign, Lifetime increased the production of original programming; launched two spinoff channels, Lifetime Movie Network and Lifetime Real Women; and become a force in politics by championing women-centered legislation.
