Dietitian: Healthy diet key for IBD sufferers

She says those with IBD should eat fruits and vegetables in their natural form, rather than as juice, and whole grains with fiber. Another gastroenterologist says the right treatment, along with physical fitness, proper nutrition and good mental health, can help patients live long and healthy lives.
