Legalizing Internet gambling may need casino support

Legislation introduced in Congress to legalize Internet gambling may need the support of bricks and mortar casinos, analysts say. Some casinos such as Harrah's Entertainment and MGM Mirage favor online gambling in the U.S., while Wynn Resorts opposes the measure. Senate Majority Leader Henry Reid, a former Nevada Gaming Commission chairman, opposes legalizing online poker as too unwieldy to regulate.
