McDonald's internal singing competition to hit the Internet

McDonald's is using social media to help promote its third annual "American Idol"-type employee singing competition. The "Voice of McDonald's," which started out as an internal contest for its workers, will now be featured on sites such as Facebook, with customers being allowed to vote on the semifinalists.
