German exports beat forecast, but factory output falls short

Germany's export volume increased 3% in October, double the amount expected by analysts, but factory output declined 0.8%, falling short of 0.5% growth anticipated by economists. The Economics Ministry said Germany's recovery is not weakening, saying the overall trend for factory output is upward.
