Canadian minister is optimistic about Keystone XL's approval

Canadian Natural Resources Minister Joe Oliver remains hopeful that TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline would secure final approval from the Obama administration. Although there is increasing opposition to the pipeline, Oliver said he still believes that U.S. officials will acknowledge that the project is in their best interest and will clear it. "We still expect that that will be the end result," he said.
