CFTC wants more money to regulate swaps market

Gary Gensler, chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, said the agency needs additional funding because its mandate has expanded. "Some have raised cost considerations about our rules," Gensler said. "But far more costly is a public that remains unprotected from the risks of the swaps market."
