Law limiting collective bargaining is repealed by Ohio voters

In Ohio, voters on Tuesday rejected a law that limited the collective-bargaining rights of public employees, including teachers. Gov. John Kasich proposed the changes to cut spending. "Attacking education and other public employees is not at all what the public wants to see," said Karen M. White, political director of the National Education Association. "It should resonate with politicians that they’ve gone too far."
