Falling gas prices may apply the brakes

The average price for a gallon of self-serve fell more than four cents per gallon during the last two weeks, but market recovery could push prices up again soon, a report says. The average price was about $1.55 Friday and prices have decreased nearly 20 cents per gallon in the last eight weeks following a supply shortage this summer.
