FTC continues to battle bogus diet ads

In an effort to curb deceptive diet ads, the Federal Trade Commission notified several media outlets that they have run ads from companies that make false weight-loss claims. The FTC is not taking action against the media outlets. The commission also launched a bogus diet claim Web site in hopes of better educating consumers.
