The Sichuan province of China has a reputation for spicy hot fare, but the region also produces dishes with flavors that are more subtle. The city of Chengdu offers a variety of culinary treats in restaurants ranging from the flagship of chain Baguo Buyi to the reservation-only Yu's Family Kitchen, as well as suburban eateries that serve such surprises as fresh rabbit heads.
