Wisconsin residents urged to not burn leaves

Wisconsin officials are urging residents to turn autumn leaves into mulch instead of bagging or burning them. While many cities allow leaf burning, the Department of Natural Resources said it contributes to poor air quality. "Just mowing the leaves in place without moving them from one place to another is a great alternative," said Jerry Medinger, a state Department of Natural Resources supervisor.
