Court: Workers' comp time cap lifted if company gets reorganized

A Circuit Court judge in Tennessee said the law mandates that the eight-year workers' compensation cap for returning injured employees should be lifted if a company is reorganized. The decision came as the court ruled on a case filed by an injured worker of General Motors after the company filed for bankruptcy and underwent reorganization.
