Wal-Mart employs holiday crowd-control plan

Wal-Mart has implemented a crowd-control plan this holiday season, designed to keep shoppers and employees safe from incidents such as last year's Black Friday incident that resulted in the death of a worker in New York. The plan was created in consultation with sports and entertainment safety specialists. Other U.S. retailers are getting proactive in their efforts to manage holiday crowds, with some holding dress rehearsals in advance of Black Friday.
