Key lawmakers support revival of D.C. school vouchers

A number of Republican lawmakers in the U.S. House are seeking to revive a school-voucher program in Washington, D.C., that was eliminated by the Obama administration. The D.C. Opportunity Scholarship program was created in 2004 to help students from low-income households attend private or religious schools with a $7,500 government scholarship.
