Minnesota group licenses decision system for imaging

The Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement in Minnesota has licensed Nuance Communications' RadPort system for use in a program that aims to ensure patients receive only medically appropriate imaging tests, including PET scans and nuclear cardiology tests. The ICSI program allows the state to save more than $28 million annually, according to Nuance.
