New York governor unveils long-term environmental plan

Outgoing New York Gov. David Paterson has pulled together an ambitious environmental plan to curb greenhouse gases and tighten sustainability requirements for buildings. The plan, which follows a 10-month review and will be left in the hands of Gov.-elect Andrew Cuomo, aims to double the state's sources of renewable energy by 2030.
