Policy aims to help doctors maintain positive Web presence

A new policy from the American Medical Association maps recommendations for doctors on the use of social media, including using privacy functions to protect personal data and content on social networking sites. "The AMA's new policy outlines a number of considerations physicians should weigh when building or maintaining a presence online," an AMA official said.
