What's really holding back women tech entrepreneurs?

Besides the oft-cited reasons of a dearth of mentors and little encouragement to pursue math and science careers, motherhood and a lack of self-confidence also hold back potential women technology entrepreneurs, writes Vinita Gupta, founder and CEO of Digital Link. "How many men, three weeks after their wife reports that she is pregnant, can tell you how much time they will spend with the baby so business is not adversely impacted?" she asks, relating several stories of leaders who became pregnant and dreaded telling the board.
