Finalists chosen in Investing in Innovation, Round Two

The Education Department named 23 finalists in the second round of the Investing in Innovation grant competition. The finalists, who were chosen from a pool of 587 applicants, must secure a private match of between 5% and 15% of their total grant request. The largest grant of $25 million is expected to go to Old Dominion University Research Foundation for a program to offer increased access to challenging math courses for high-needs students.
