Free lunch helps Chartwells showcase a healthier menu

Food-service provider Chartwells offered a free lunch for "Customer Appreciation Day" at Montclair High School in New Jersey, partly to show students the menu has been revised from last year to offer more choices and healthier foods. Parents organized a group called Montclair Food Revolution to protest the quality of school food and to seek changes, such as reducing processed and high-fat foods and offering more fruits and vegetables, grilled meat and whole-grain pasta.
